A new SUV to our family.

The World Premiere was held on Argentina, where we were able to meet the new member who joins the Volkswagen SUV family. Taos will be the first SUV manufactured in Argentina, for the entire Latin America, which will be characterized by its high levels of safety, technology and comfort. Design

Taos arrives to make a difference between SUVs, with technology applied to design, both interior and exterior. The new member of this family bears our stamp wherever you look.

Taos will be part of our new identity, it will debut the new night signature of the brand that can be seen in the rear and headlights. These are connected with an LED light guide that runs across the grill from side to side. We will also identify it by its marked SUV silhouette that transmits a solid, robust image and also of space and interior comfort, with a raised and straight nose.

Taos has everything for you

Taos will incorporate our VWPLAY, with a 10 inches screen, 100% touch, which will offer the maximum entertainment and the greatest connectivity. You will be able to download your applications from the VW App Store, without using the memory of your smartphone

Q Light, the safety you need on every trip

Taos will incorporate the latest lighting technology. The headlights provide a longer and wider reach to the sides with the “All Weather” function. It also includes “Dynamic light assist” that reduces power and range when another vehicle approaches and “dynamic curve light” that illuminates the angle in the direction that the driver applies to the steering wheel.

Technology and comfort

The horizontal layout transmits the feeling of space to the passenger cabine and places the driver's view on the “technological island” which includes the VW Play and the Active Info display, our already popular 100% digital dashboard.
Also, news such as the wireless cell phone charger, and a Soft Touch interior that will make your travels an extremely comfortable experience.

250 TSI engine

Our new SUV will be equipped with a 250 TSI, hyper efficient and modern engine that will provide all its power with less fuel consumption.
